# Gotchi Mint

Gotchi-Minting is an event when a user uses 2 of his Gotchi of the same degree of rarity and the same level to create a new Gotchi of a higher degree of rarity.

This minting process (hatching a new Gotchi from the egg) takes 48 hours.

Both original Gotchi are burned after the mint is completed.

Only Gotchi of the single highest level of their degree of rarity are allowed in a mint. \
Any type of Gotchi, of any working class, may be used in a mint.

Users receive their rarer Gotchi immediately after the egg is broken.

The cost of a mint is paid with a $GON token.
